Recently, a 15-month-old kid died after a possible exposure to the drug fentanyl. After the incident, her parents, Evan Frostick and Madison Bernard were arrested and are currently in jail, charged with murder.
One of the most lethal street narcotics, illicit Fentanyl, has evolved from a hidden killer that many people try to avoid to one most drug users now seek out on their own.
Until recently, purposeful fentanyl usage was primarily restricted to the West Coast, but addiction specialists have witnessed an increase in the drug’s use across the country in recent years.
Charlotte Frostick died recently, nearly three years after another Santa Rosa infant died from an opiate overdose. Fentanyl was implicated in the deaths of Patrick O’Neill and his young son, Liam, who were found inside their Santa Rosa house in September 2019.
Charlotte Frosick Parents Evan Frostick & Madison Bernard Face Murder Charges
Charlotte Frosick was just a 15-month-old girl who died after a possible exposure to Fentanyl. Her parents, Charlotte Frosick and Evan Frostick are charged with the murder of their child and were arrested shortly after the incident.
Her parents are now facing cruelty charges. Police say they discovered 15-month-old Charlotte Frostick lifeless beside a drug suspected of Fentanyl in her parent’s bedroom.
The family shared a bed in which their daughter also used to sleep, and police discovered drug paraphernalia on the bed and other bedroom areas.
Charlotte was subsequently declared dead at a hospital. Her father, Evan, was arrested. This is a tragically similar situation to one from 2019, in which a Santa Rosa man and his 13-month-old child were found dead from an accidental fentanyl overdose. Federal prosecutors would subsequently arrest other drug dealers.

Santa Rosa-Based Couple Evan Frostick And Madison Bernard Let Child Consume Fentanyl
Northern California prosecutors have brought murder charges against the guardians of a 15-month-old girl who died in May after ingesting Fentanyl, which officials suspect her mother was using.
Investigators suspect Charlotte Frostick, a 15-month-old girl, consumed the Fentanyl by touching it and maybe putting her hands in her eyes or mouth.
As per The Associated Press, the Sonoma County Coroner’s Office found last month that her death was caused by “acute fentanyl intoxication.”
According to the coroner’s findings, Bernard consumed Fentanyl and went to sleep inside their apartment. Unfortunately, the drugs and paraphernalia were in the same bed she shared with her daughter.
Similar incidents like this happened lots of times in 2019. Patrick and his 13-month-old son were discovered dead and the cause of death has been defined as the use of Fentanyl.

Father Evan Frostick & Mother Madison Bernard Got Arrested For Killing The Baby- Their Jail Sentence
Evan Frostick and Madison Bernard are currently facing charges for the murder of their 15-month-old daughter. Their jail sentences will be announced shortly by the court.
They may face a prison sentence of over ten years because when a similar incident like this happened back in 2021, a mother was charged with murder after her 2-year-old son consumed Fentanyl.
Lynn Slater, the public defender for Sonoma County, said Friday that she took over the case Thursday but couldn’t comment on the matter. It was unclear if Bernard had a counselor who could speak on her behalf.
