What Did Anna Sorokin Parents Say About Their Daughter?
After Anna Sorokin was found guilty of felony theft and other counts in 2019, her father, Vadim, stated in interviews that he had abandoned his daughter.
He went on to say that he had little knowledge of his daughter’s time in New York City and that he was one of several people from whom she had stolen money.
He also said he didn’t understand how Sorokin had arrived at this stage in her life, despite the fact that he and his wife had “raised her nicely.”
“Their daughter had never sent them money,” Vadim claimed in an interview with Komosomolskaya Prava in 2019.
He added, Of course, they were worried about her, but she had such a selfish mentality that there was nothing they could do about it.
