Lea Elui is a social media starlet who is French-Italian but grew-up in the United States. She has become quite popular on Instagram, and has a loyal following on the social media platform. Many are curious about who the young lady is, so let’s take a closer look at Lea.
Early life and family
Lea was born in Marseille, France on 4 January 2001. It’s unclear when her family moved over to the US, but she grew up in Los Angeles, California. She has two brothers who are younger than her, Lucas Ginet and Noa G. Her stepfather is known only as Seb G.
She was harassed at school before becoming famous, and said that life wasn’t easy for her back then. Lea was insulted regularly, but stayed strong, and took to social media to find a way to build her confidence.
Educational background
Unfortunately, there are no details about Lea’s educational background available at the moment, other than that she did a professional management course. It is assumed that she finished high school.
Career
Lea’s social media career started on the app musical.ly, which became TikTok.
She shared videos of herself dancing, and people enjoyed watching her – both her beauty and impressive dance moves attracted many people to her account. She trained as a belly dancer before starting her social media career, and she loved showing-off what she had learned.
Her mother, Delphine, was part of the reason Lea became so successful – despite not understanding how social media really worked, she was very supportive. She helped her daughter create a schedule so she could balance her school work and her social media projects.
Lea showed her gratitude to her mom with a post on Instagram in 2018, adding a caption in which she thanked Delphine, calling her an inspiration and role model.
Eventually, Lea moved on to Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube as well. On Instagram – on which she has more than 10 million followers – she often shares dance and make-up videos. On her YouTube channel, she did a Q&A session with followers, and also uploaded some of her most popular TikTok videos. She also does reaction videos – a popular trend on the video-sharing site – of pole dancing and aerobics.
Her lip-syncing videos received a lot of attention too, making her even more admired and popular.
To date, Lea’s s video of her belly dancing to Shakira’s ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ is the most-loved by fans. Her moonwalk video has received a lot of attention and likes as well. The social media star’s make-up tutorials are also very popular, and earn her a lot of views. She is often showered with compliments and praise on her social media accounts, with most of the positive attention focused on her dancing abilities.
Hobbies, favourite things and interesting facts
Apart from the pieces of information that Lea reveals on social media, her private life is a bit of a mystery. However, there are some interesting facts known, such as the tattoo that she has on her neck – it says ‘Fearless’ and her mother has an identical one. Her favourite singer is Nicki Minaj and she adores the band Puma. It is reported by ‘Make Facts’ that Lea’s favourite colour is red.
She has previously collaborated with fellow social media stars such as Brent Rivera, Hannah Stocking and Loren Gray.
Lea has also scored herself an endorsement with Bang Energy drink, which she’s promoted on Instagram.
In addition to being known for her dancing, Lea is often also admired for her fashion choices; she is seen as a young woman with good taste and great fashion sense.
Relationships
Lea is considered quite the catch, and she’s apparently very popular with young men. For the most part, the young lady keeps her romantic life private, and only occasionally shares memories and details with her followers.
In 2017, she dated fellow Instagram user Lucas Ollinger – their relationship was revealed when she shared a video entitled ‘Meet My Boyfriend’, but they split up the next year. According to WaliKali, Lucas felt insecure when Lea started to show some skin on her social media accounts.
In 2019, Lea had an on-again-off-again relationship with Hunter Rowland. He is a social media personality too, who is also quite popular, but in the middle of 2019, they officially broke up. She reacted to the split by sharing a photo on Instagram with a caption about her heart being broken a few times.
