Each episode will see the elimination of one individual who is considered not relationship material. And while some exes try to defend their ex’s honor, others try to send their rival home.
The one who wins an “ex-ercise” will earn a romantic date and safety from the upcoming elimination.

The Big D was filmed in Tamarindo, a beautiful town on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast in March 2021. Tamarindo is famous for its beaches with strong surf.
The divorcees are welcomed to a luxurious villa in tropical Costa Rica to embark on an emotional journey, relearning the art of dating and hoping for a new romance among fellow contestants.
Costa Rica’s beaches and refreshing breeze make it a perfect location for a show like The Big D, which is all about love, healing, dating, and realizing divorce doesn’t mean the end of your story.
Most of the pivotal sequences for the show are shot in and around Tamarindo in Guanacaste Province. It is the largest developed beach town in the province.
The town is home to many luxurious villas, one of which is used for the production of USA Network’s The Big D.

The Bachelor’s star Fletcher took to her Instagram on March 15, 2021, to share a loving picture of herself with Rodgers and announce the filming of a new dating show, The Big D.
“We’re so excited to announce our latest adventure here in Costa Rica! We’re hosting TBS’ upcoming new dating show ‘The Big D’,” she captioned the IG post.
On March 31, 2021, the host shared another post marking the end of filming the show.
“Popping bottles… and accidentally some buttons. That’s a WRAP on filming! We will miss you Costa Ricaaaaa!” she wrote in the post.
Meet The Big D Couples
The Big D couples are Ariel Lyndsey & Blair Delgado, Casey Costa & Brooks Peters, and others. The contestants come from various places and professional backgrounds.
Ariel Lyndsey and Blair Delgado
31-year-old Ariel Lyndsey is a content creator from Los Angeles, California. Her ex, Blair Delgado, from Clearwater, Florida, is a Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager at KnowBe4.
He joined the company in May 2019 as a Tech Touch Customer Success Manager and was promoted to senior in February 2022.
The former pair were married for four and a half years. Lyndsey left Delgado after he cheated on her. And while he has moved on, the content creator is open to rekindling.
Alexis Nicole and Devon Wright
Alexis Nicole is from Atlanta, Georgia, while her ex Devon Wright is from Charleston, South Carolina. The pair were married for a year.
Alexis Nicole is 27 years old.
Strained relationships with in-laws and Wright’s tendency to start disputes tore them apart. However, both joined The Big D to give each other a second chance.
Nicole began her professional career in 2014 as a coordinator for the Trinity United Methodist Church.

Devon is a model repped by Marilyn’s agency. He previously worked for the International Longshoremen’s Association.
Ally Lee and David Mims
33-year-old Ally Lee and 35-year-old David Mims come from Dallas, Texas. They were married for five years.
Ally was unfaithful to her partner, which ultimately broke their marriage of five years. Well, she is open to trying things again.
Mims embarked on becoming an NFL player soon after graduating high school. In his football career, he played with the Kansas City, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and more.
In 2015, he was cut from the team. After leaving football, he appeared in Paramount Plus’ Fantasy Football.
Ally is an entrepreneur and runs her restaurant, The Melted Chocolate, she opened in 2020. Her bakery is located at the DFW Metroplex in Frisco, Texas.
Casey Costa and Brooks Peters
Born on March 22, 1989, Casey Costa is from Lake Tahoe, California. Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Brooks Peters is also currently based in South Lake Tahoe.
The former pair were married for two years. And with Brooks still in love with Costa, she is more interested in dating the other exes in the USA Network’s newest dating show.
Costa is a social media influencer with nearly a million followers on TikTok. Peters has a business that solves high-altitude lawn care and hauling for commercial and residential properties.
Dede Lewis and Thakur Wint
