Megan Moroney, a popular TikTok user, has been gaining traction with her most recent song, “Tennessee Orange.”
The charming tale of a girl falling in love with an East Tennessee lad is depicted in the song’s lyrics.
Although having grown up supporting the Georgia Bulldogs, a rival team, the song’s narrator now wears the color orange in homage to her particular love interest, a Tennessee Volunteers supporter.
The upbeat song made its premiere on Friday, September 2, in advance of The Volunteers’ mid-October matchup with the Alabama Crimson Tide, which the football team defeated 52-49 at Neyland Stadium. Yet, “Tennessee Orange” was already becoming well-known on TikTok before that game.
Nevertheless, it wasn’t only the music that caught people’s attention. Following some online research, fans proposed claims that Morgan Wallen was the song’s inspiration.
