Gayle King is not on CBS This Morning as she seems to be on vacation leave. 

We know for sure that she is leaving CBS permanently. 

Gayle recently shared via her Twitter in April 2021 that she will be taking Grandma Maternity leave in September as her favorite daughter is Kirby is pregnant.

The host herself shared with two other co-hosts in CBS This Morning show.

As per her latest Instagram post on June 13, she captioned vacation officially underway and wrote about the first stop in LA for watching the movie In The Heights.

The reporter was absent from the show in 2020 following the matters of Late Kobe Bryant.

At that time, Gayle was miffed with CBS, as the network distributed a clip that is totally out of context.

And, that very clip enraged many fans of late NBA legend Kobe Bryant. 

CBS News shared that as she had a long-standing commitment out of town, she was off the show in February 2020.

Is Gayle King Still In California- What Happened To Her?

Gayle King seems to be still in California, as she noted on her latest IG post that her first stop is Los Angeles.

Nothing bad has happened to her. The soon-to-be grandma is really in excitement with her first grandchild on the way.

In the video, she expressed about helping her daughter during her pregnancy period.
