During an interview with TMZ Live on Wednesday, he opened up about his difficulties since contracting COVID-19 at the Kids’ Choice Awards, saying that being in quarantine drove him “crazy.”
Mandel claimed he was quarantined for ten days. He still feels as if he’s recovering from the insanity. He became extremely depressed and neurotic. He mentioned that he could be open about his mental health because he actively seeks therapy.
The actor told PEOPLE last summer that he had suffered from severe anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder for nearly his entire life.
He stated that even though he and AGT won an award at the Kids’ Choice Awards, he felt he “lost” by becoming ill after the event after being so careful not to get COVID in the previous two years.
