The Voice star Jess Mauboy has broken down in tears after sharing an emotional message about body image. The judge was reacting to David Aumua’s blind audition when she opened up about the “tricks” our minds can play on us about the way we look.
When David became emotional and stopped to collect himself, Jess encouraged David to “take your time, brother.”
He continued: “I guess growing up a big bloke and choosing music was a tough choice for me because I felt like my songs that I’m into, my body doesn’t suit that kind of genre.
