The strange relationship between Vili Fualaau and his teacher-turned-wife, Mary Kay Letourneau, who died in July 2020 after nine months of covert treatment for stage 4 colon cancer, made him infamous.

Vili added that he fell in love with someone more than 20 years older than him, which surprised him.
As per a source who spoke to People, Fualaau’s viewpoint on his relationship improved due to the divorce. “He sees things now and recognizes that this wasn’t a healthy relationship from the beginning.”
In essence, Fualaau was detained in 2021 for a DUI. The New York Post reports that he was apprehended in Seattle after nearly hitting a police cruiser at 4 a.m. He was brought to the county jail after giving a sobriety test.

Vili Fualaau New Wife After Split With Mary Kay Letourneau
Speculation about Vili’s new wife and the relationship has piqued the interest of online users. Vili will eventually date, even though he is now single, because of the separation, which gave him new insight into his relationship.
As per court records submitted in King County, Washington, Fualaau, 38, asked for a divorce from his ex-wife, a former sixth-grade teacher, who was 58.
After completing Letourneau’s seven-year prison term on child molestation charges related to her relationship with Fualaau, the two got married in May 2005 in Washington state.
When she became pregnant with their first child, their relationship made headlines. She was 34 years of age, married, and had four kids while he was 13.
In 1997, Letourneau entered into a plea agreement for two charges of second-degree child molestation. While she was imprisoned, she gave birth to their second child.
Then, after a six-month struggle with colon cancer, she passed away on July 6, 2020.
