NNN challenge is an internet challenge created to abstain from masturbation or to experience an orgasm. Participants in this challenge voluntarily share their progress among their social media peers or privately with friends.
As the internet becomes more prominent, daily challenges are brought to users’ attention. Multiple tasks are created as a joke, from popularity, or simply because one wants to. Funnily enough, these challenges are among the top attention grabber and a running gg among content creators.
What is NNN Challenge? – History of the Challenge Explained
NNN is the abbreviation of No Nut November. In 2011, the challenge was launched in Reddit threads.
However, as per Dictionary, the task was a spin-off No Shave November which started in the 1970s. In this task, men would refrain from cutting their hair and mustache all through November.
The No-Shave November is taken voluntarily or by someone who supported a specific cause. The most notable reason is Prostate Cancer.
The not shaving challenge soon converted into No Nut November. It still hasn’t been clear whether the task started as a joke or a competition. But it has been acknowledged that it began as “No fap” and began from a thread of Reddit posts in 2011.
We can say that this has been seen as a competition by many who participate as we can find multiple memes and funny content circulating whenever November is near.
The No Nut month has already started, beginning the endless joke.
This task, however, has been seen as a fabrication of misogyny and threats of violence. Talking to Gir on the Net, a sex blogger, newstatesman writes that this movement is seen as anti-sex positivity, and abstaining from masturbation can spike testosterone levels within only a week.
Furthermore, the cost of “simple humor” and “jokes” created around it have been using women as sexual objects and shaming them for being sexually active.
She also adds that the challenge can be seen in a positive light as well. Most men participating might use it as an excuse for personal reasons to stop jerking and devote the time to something else.
The Rules for NNN Challenge
Rules for the NNN challenge are simple. Anyone who participates will have to give up masturbating, intercourse, or any activities that lead to an orgasm.
Participants are to follow through with the rule all through November.
How to Do The NNN Challenege?
As the rules have been described, during the NNN challenge, participants are to distance themselves from any form of sexual activities or jerking off.
