The wife of former England player Wayne publicly stated that her fellow footballer’s wife shared three phony articles she had made on her personal Instagram account with The Sun tabloid.
The issue dates back to October 2019. Coleen Rooney suspected that someone was leaking information about her to The Sun newspaper and began an internet investigation to figure out who was to blame.
According to BBC, she spent months writing made-up stories on her own Instagram stories, limiting who could view them, and waiting to see whether they would appear in The Sun.
