Peterson is a clinical psychologist and a Youtube personality from Canada. Besides, he is also a professor emeritus at the University of Toronto. He started to get more attention in late 2010 after presenting his views on cultural and political issues.

Jordan Peterson had an illness that was caused due to benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome. He reacted to food and had a severe autoimmune reaction.
As a result, he was prescribed a benzodiazepine by the doctors. Nevertheless, in the same year, he went on a strict diet where he only ate meat and some vegetables. It got promoted by his daughter, who is also a nutrition influencer.
He was also in a depression that affected autoimmune disorder, psoriasis, and uveitis. Thus from mid-2018, he covered his diet with just meat. Jordan stopped eating vegetables and only ate beef, salt, and water.
Further, no doctor in North America was willing to accommodate his treatment; as a result, he flew to Russia with his daughter and other family members. Upon his arrival, he was diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs. Also, Jordan had to spend four weeks in the intensive care unit.
After treatment for several months, he made his appearance in public in mid-2020. Thus, he also warned people about the long-term use of benzodiazepine.
