Greekgodx Before And After Scenario- What Happened To The Streamer?
Twitch has once again banned Dimitri “Greekgodx.” The video creator’s most recent ban could have been prompted by his offensive remarks on July 29 during a current In Real Life live.
Dimitri began making offensive noises that parodied the Asian linguistic accent as he walked across Greece. As a result, for the second time, Twitch banned Dimitri “Greekgodx.” The most recent suspension of the content producer may have been brought on by the disrespectful comments he made on July 29 during a current IRL stream.
No one was shocked when the British content creator was again banned from social media sites like Reddit and Twitter.
As anticipated, several discussion threads on Twitter and Reddit went viral, with the streaming community lamenting the suspension of the Twitch streamer. In addition, they expressed displeasure with Dimitri’s explanation for making noises in public and said that the streamer was making fun of the Asian language in any case.
Earlier this month, after discussing his dating life, Dimitri went on a rampage where he addressed female streamers and implied that they should give up streaming if they wanted to be in a relationship with him. In the end, he got banned from the site for three days.
Greekgodx Real Name And Religion- Is He Muslim?
Greekgodx’s real Name is Dimitri Raymondo Antonatos. He was born in the United Kingdom. It is unsure if he is a Muslim or not, but he allegedly disrespected the Islam community.
According to several viewers, Greek also “chanted and sobbed” over the adhan, the Muslim call to prayer, which is insulting to the faith and its adherents. Whatever the motivation for his most recent outburst, it does appear that his earlier outbreaks were not isolated incidents.
It will be fascinating to watch how Twitch responds to such content, given that they have only recently welcomed him back on their site.
But he has shown some positivity towards Muslims and thanked them; on June 29, 2022, he tweeted, “I love my Muslim brothers. All I can say is thank you.”
Greekgodx Controversy Behind Ban From Twitch
Controversial Twitch streamer Dimitri “Greekgodx” Antonatos is once again in trouble. Greekgodx was banned from Twitch once again despite his denial of wrongdoing.
Greekgodx has been suspended indefinitely, but there is already speculation in the streaming community as to why. A few hours after a video of the streamer making fun of an Asian family as he passed past them while streaming an in-person feed went viral, he was banned.
The streamer began to emit sounds in a nasal tone that have frequently been used to mock the spoken Chinese language shortly after passing a mother and her children. Greekgodx has spoken forward to refute these claims.
On July 28, Greekgodx responded to criticism on Twitter by denying that he had made fun of the Asian family in the video. Instead, Greekgodx said that he was producing “random noises,” accusing individuals who were accusing him of racism of making assumptions without providing any evidence.
“This is amusing since that family wasn’t Asian. Greek was being spoken by the family there. Additionally, it is entirely incorrect to infer that they are Asian. My relatives are Asian. Why would I treat the folks who raised me in a discriminatory manner? Tweeted by Greekgodx.
GreekgodX Previous Bans- More On The Streamer Controversy
On June 28, Greek was banned, and the community instantly wondered why. GreekGodx went to Twitter when the ban became known and claimed it was because he had momentarily “twerked” on a recent stream. However, many have noticed that there may have been other factors at play.
GreekGodx recently engaged in a rant that many people have subsequently criticized as misogynistic, in which he said that any woman who wants to date him would have to give up their profession to take care of him at home.
The timing of such a divisive outburst led many to assume that this is the real reason he got banned, and whatever the case, it has gathered much attention.
The streamer had already encountered comparable levels of controversy; he famously received a 14-day suspension in September 2019 for another contentious outburst focusing on gender identification.
The latest recent scandal is a worrying indictment of a regular pattern of contentious conduct that is starting to build for the streamer, despite his later apology and defense of his comments as a jest.
GreekGodx was finally unbanned from the platform on July 1, according to official confirmation, and the most recent suspension had only been in effect for three days. However, despite the backlash to his most recent comments, the streamer has shown little to no remorse, doubling down on Twitter that he is only angry because he “wants a conventional relationship.”
It is unclear whether the amount of controversy will persist now that Greek’s most recent Twitch suspension has been lifted, even though he appears to have developed a more reliable broadcasting schedule in recent months.
Greekgodx Rise As A Streamer Explained
Greekgodx has a run of unsuccessful careers. He left the last one at a restaurant and played H1Z1: Survive in between looking for jobs. He was chatting to another player in-game one day as he was playing H1Z1 when another player inquired whether he was a streamer.
The soon-to-be streamer said he wasn’t, but they persuaded him to give it a shot since they thought his voice would work well for an RPG. So Dmitri decided to give it a go. He streams sniped Sodapoppin as one of his shenanigans. Sodapoppin invited him to play with him since Chat adored him, and they did so every day for over a year.
He subsequently became well-known in the streaming community for his gaming and sniping antics, and his channel gradually expanded. Due to various personal issues, he streamed intermittently for a lengthy period. When he learned that loltyler1 had switched to H1Z1, he flows sniped him and invited him to participate.
Tyler consented to it after getting to know him through Tyler1’s Chat and wanting to play with Tyler1. Tyler knew him from Sodapoppin’s stream.
Tyler then began phoning Greekgodx nearly every day to perform dual-streams, which according to Greekgodx, is likely what helped him emerge from his melancholy and establish a routine. By extension, that is what, at some point, launched the expansion of his channel to what it is now.
He currently frequently broadcasts alongside other streamers, notably xQcow. He joined the TSM stream team in February 2020, and since then, he has developed into a versatile streamer that plays various games on his channel and broadcasts them to his audience.
When Will Greekgodx to be back on Twitch?
When Greekgodx might return to Twitch and how long his most recent ban will continue are both still unknown. However, given that this is his second suspension in less than 30 days, the most recent ban may be extended.
Greekgodx was suspended on June 28 after going into a sexist rage about what he wanted from a partner.
Greekgodx said, “Your career is over. “I’ll watch as you prepare meals and clean up after me. While I make all the money, you take care of the kids. I offer it to you and our kids so they can live happy safe lives. That is the way I want to live.
There seems to be no end to the controversy of the loved streamer; he is degrading his reputation and career with all this negative fame. He might need to change if he wants to save his career as a streamer.
