That’s why she lied about the abortion and gave birth to her son, Adam, in May 1988. The only person who knew about her little secret was Peter. In 2000, Peter Barlow accidentally disclosed that Susan had a son by the name of Adam when arguing with his father.

How Did Susan Barlow Die In Corrie?

On November 27, 2017, Susan Barlow unexpectedly returned to Coronation Street as a key character.

She was found to have died in a car crash that was partly the fault of the vicar, Billy Mayhew, who hadn’t shown up on the cobbles until more than a decade after she had passed away.

After Billy was detained on suspicion of being involved in the crime, Todd, Billy’s boyfriend, hired a private investigator and eventually learned the truth.

In the following scene, it is made clear that Billy was horrified at learning who he had murdered in the collision.

For her funeral, Susan’s body was returned to Weatherfield, where she was laid to rest next to her mother, Valerie. Since Susan’s passing, Peter, Adam, Ken, and his other son, Daniel Osbourne, have periodically mentioned her.
