On 27 June, Police reported that Randon Lee, the son of TikTok star Ophelia Nichols, was selling marijuana when he was fatally shot on Friday in Mobile County.
Nichols seems to have more than 7 million followers on TikTok, where she goes under the username “shoelover99” and is known as “Mama Tot.”
Lee was shot by a suspect in a black car at a gas station on Friday night, 24 June, according to Jason Hadaway, CID of major crimes for the Prichard Police Department.
The case’s specifics were revealed at a news conference given by Prichard police on June 27 and uploaded on their official Facebook account.
Ophelia Nichols Son Randon Lee Death And Obituary
Ophelia Nichols, a social media celebrity, shared the heartbreaking news on Tuesday, 28 June, as she deals with the unfortunate demise of her beloved son.
According to an obituary released by Nichols, her son Randon was fatally shot and murdered at a Prichard petrol station. The tragedy occurred the day before Lee’s 19th birth anniversary.
“My son was taken from us last night by the hands of another individual at just 18 years old,” the TikTok star wrote on Facebook, “He would be 19 today but Someone else decided to end my son’s life.”
Later, Nichols shared a video on TikTok in which she claimed to be “getting through it.” The lady also stated that she and her family had “found out a lot of stuff” they hadn’t known before the murder of her son.
Holding back tears, Nichols continued, “When your children live out on their own, pay their bills, and have a good job, it just doesn’t cross your mind that they would be doing anything to get themselves into a problem.”

Update On 18-Year-Old Randon Lee Death As His Murder Suspect Is Arrested
Last month, Prichard investigators gave an update at a press conference, stating that they have two suspects in the homicide.
At that time, Assistant District Attorney Madison Davis, the District Attorney’s Office claimed they didn’t have sufficient evidence to support an arrest.
On the other hand, Ronnie Lee, the victim’s grandfather, remarked that he was curious to know why the alleged murderers weren’t sentenced to prison.

Reportedly, police have now arrested one of the suspects in the case; however, further investigation is still ongoing to collect more evidence.
The DA’s office has also visited with the Prichard investigators numerous times and requested that they follow up on certain matters.
The family says the long wait feels much longer because of the tragedy of Randon and the absence of justice.

Randon Lee Alabama Killer Reuben Gulley Arrested
As per the FOX10News report, Randon Lee was allegedly shot by Reuben Gulley on June 24 at a petrol station in Prichard.
Lee, the son of TikTok celebrity Ophelia Nichols, was fatally attacked after meeting up with two individuals to offer them marijuana, according to investigators.
On Thursday, 20-year-old Reuben was reportedly detained and turned himself into the Mobile County Metro Jail at around five o’clock.
According to FOX10 News, when they contacted Prichard Police, the authorities declined to provide any information regarding the arrest. However, the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office verified the information.
