Heidgen, a convicted drunk driver, was driving the wrong way on the Meadowbrook Parkway in July 2005, after a jubilant family wedding, and murdered limo driver Stanley Rabinowitz and a flower girl.
Heidgen, 25, was sentenced to a minimum of 18 years in prison in February 2007 by New York Supreme Court Justice Alan Honorof on multiple counts of second-degree “depraved indifference” murdering and associated crimes.
