Kasey Kahne, 42, is a former professional stock car racer and dirt track racer from the United States. In NASCAR’s Monster Energy Cup Series, he drove the No. 95 Dumont Jets/Procore Technologies Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Leavine Family Racing in 2018.
At 17, he began racing open-wheel sprint cars at Deming Speedway in Deming, Washington, before progressing to Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington, and then to USAC.

Kasey Kahne said that he had not been medically authorized to finish the season in 2018 due to health issues, including severe dehydration and difficulty regulating his heart rate and body temperature while racing.
His condition prompted him to resign from NASCAR in 2018, and he was involved in a devastating sprint car accident in 2019. His sole option to stay active in motorsports appeared to be team ownership rather than racing.
But, after regaining total health in 2020, Kahne is not just racing again but doing so full-time, with plans to compete in over 80 sprint car events on the WoO circuit.
And while he was dissatisfied with his 19th-place finish in the 26-car race, he found satisfaction in the voyage that had brought him here and the one that was about to begin.
Now, he has decided to go on his ambitious driving schedule. Despite his World of Outlaws racing involvement, Kahne says he intends to run full-time in the KKR No. 9 car in 2022.
