Investigators believe they located the body of an Arkansas judge who went missing on a family lake trip.
According to an Aug. 7 announcement from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Judge Jeremiah T. Bueker, 48, “ventured out alone” to Mud Lake in Jefferson County during a weekend trip.
The sun set as they searched, and Bueker’s family saw no sign of him, according to the sheriff’s office.
They dialed 911 for assistance. According to the announcement, deputies scoured Mud Lake on foot and by boat with help from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
