Ghanaian actress and social media influencer Akuapen Poloo will be spending some time behind bars. She was charged with posting nude content which she had uploaded a year ago in July. What were the charges? When is she going to be released? 

Rosemond Alade Brown, aka Akuapem Poloo, is an award-winning actress from Ghana, a video vixen, and a huge social media sensation. On Instagram, she has more than half a million followers.

 

Recently, Akuapen’s life has been a living hell. At present, she is serving a 90-day jail term handed down by the lawyers and the judges. Let’s read more about this story. 

What Happened To Akuapem Poloo? Arrest Charges

Akuapem Poloo was charged with posting indecent pictures with her seven-year-old son. Ghanaian authorities have charged her with openly posting nude photographs in public and with domestic violence.

Brown’s lawyers were seeking to challenge the judgment of the course, but the appeal was denied on December 1st.

 

The Criminal Court, 1 Division of the High Court, threw out their appeal. 

Now, the actress and social media star will have to spend 90 days in prison. 

Akuapem Poloo Viral Picture

In June 2020, on her son’s 7th birthday, Poloo posted a snap of herself nude. She was facing her son in the picture, and her seven-year-old son and she were looking at each other in the photograph. 

The picture went viral. 

 

Popular American singer Cardi B has written her opinion openly on Twitter. She wrote, “I don’t think she was going for sexual more going the natural idea. I think jail is a bit harsh.“

Akuapem Poloo’s Husband And Son 

Following losing the appeal on Wednesday, she wrote an emotional caption for her son. 

Akuapem wrote, “SON I LOVE YOU AND GOD IS WITH YOU ALWAYS YOU KNOW … BE GOOD TILL MUMMY COMES BACK …GOD IS IN CONTROL ALWAYS.“

 

At age 24, she gave birth to him, and since his birth, Poloo has been single-handedly raising him. She is a single mother. 

Akuapem Poloo’s Wikipedia

Akuapem was born in 1989 and, as of this year, she is 32 years old. 

The actress celebrates her birthday on June 1st.

Rosemond Alade Brown was born in Suhum, in the Eastern Region of Ghana. She went to Suhum Roman Catholic School but left the school after some time.
