Aaron Lowe was an up-and-coming football player. He was a student at the University of Utah and played as a cornerback in the football team.
He began his football career as a wide receiver before moving on to become a defenseman at the end of the junior season. During his high school days, he recorded 74 tackles and three interceptions in his senior season.
He played in 11 games on special teams after joining the university team in 2019. He also played in all five games on special teams in 2020.
Furthermore, Lowe was the first person to receive the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship, an honorary scholarship named after his friend and teammate Ty Jordan.

Aaron Lowe passed away in a tragic shooting incident on September 26, 2021. He was 21 years old at the time of his death, as per AP News.
He was attending a house party when the shooting happened. It took place a few hours after the Utes defeated Washington.
Lowe was killed shortly after midnight. His death comes less than a year after the death of his close friend, Ty Jordan. Jordan was a 19-year-old footballer who also died of a gunshot wound in 2020.
Lowe switched his jersey from No. 2 to No. 22 in honor of his late friend. He was wearing the same No. 22 jersey when he passed away.
The police are currently investigating the case and are in search of a possible suspect. Moreover, a second victim, a woman, is in critical condition.
The news of his death has shocked the Utah community and they are currently mourning the football star. Utah coach Kyle Whittingham described him as a loving son, brother, friend, and teammate.
He further wrote, “He will be deeply missed.”
