However, the professional has come back strong after experiencing nearly death experience.
This weekend, the 37-year-old went on to win four medals at the Natural Bodybuilding Federation events in London.
From an early age, he was a fitness freak.
Reza, at the tender age of 12, started taking Muay Thai kickboxing lessons and after a few years, he became a fitness buff.
Growing up, he idolized Arnold and took the path of bodybuilding.
What Happened To Reza Rezamand? Ladybird Bite Caused Sepsis
In November 2016, Reza Rezamand was bitten by a ladybird that caused Sepsis.
After a workout at Stoke-on-Trent gym, when opening his car door, an orange color ladybird bit him.
Soon after, he felt severe pain in his hand and his neck.
He drove himself to a nearby hospital to check the pain, where he was kept overnight and pumped up with sixteen antibiotics.
That day his foot was swollen twice the normal size, and soon after was rushed to the second hospital.
This time the hospital was able to get a diagnosis of his problem. It turned out it was Sepsis caused by the ladybird bite.
The infection from the insect bite caused sepsis in him. He had been told by the doctor that there was a 30 percent chance of him dying.
