Diplo earlier faced backlash after 19-year-old influencer Quenlin Blackwell said she’s been living with him in Los Angeles in late 2020.
Netizens believe that Quen Blackwell was being groomed by Diplo. However, Quen Blackwell and Diplo denied rumours that their relationship was appropriate and not platonic.
“There is nothing but friendship between us,” Diplo tweeted. “As a landlord I don’t really consider age or race as a qualification. U just gotta pay security deposit. And don’t poke holes in the walls or ruin my carpet.”
Quen Blackwell also tweeted:
Diplo is an American DJ and music producer. Diplo is a member of the supergroup LSD with Sia and Labrinth, a member of the electronic duo Jack Ü with producer and DJ Skrillex, and a member of Silk City with Mark Ronson.
