In a brand-new video, Stacey Dash opens out about her personal sobriety path and sobs after learning that rap icon DMX had a cocaine-induced heart attack in April 2021.
The 55-year-old Clueless and Renaissance Man actress teared up as she reminisced about the hitmaker in a moving video that she uploaded to TikTok on Wednesday.
She said in the video’s commentary that she found out about it while searching through social media for one of DMX’s songs that had previously “saved [her] many times,” but she didn’t say which song it was.

I was unaware of DMX’s passing. I was unaware that it was the result of a cocaine overdose,” she stated, pausing many times to gather herself.
