After 17 years of challenging CNN, Don Lemon is retiring.
The anchor, who had recently emerged as one of the Warner Bros. Discovery network’s most recognizable personalities, revealed his termination from CNN on social media on Monday.
“This morning, my agent informed me that I had been let go by CNN. I’m in awe. I would have expected someone in management to have the decency to tell me straight out after 17 years at CNN.
I never had any warning that I wouldn’t be able to carry on with the work I’ve always liked at the network. There are obviously some more significant concerns at hand,” Lemon remarked.
