What Are The Allegations Against Gable Stevenson? Details About The Wrestler

Gave Stevenson is an American professional wrestler who was mixed in some sexual misconduct allegations along with another wrestler.

Steveson is a former freestyle & folkstyle wrestler who competed professionally in the United States. He is presently contracted to WWE, where he was given a position on the Raw brand under his true name, but he has not yet played in a match.

After Kurt Angle, he is the second gold winner in Olympic wrestling to be hired by the organization. After overcoming three-time World Champion Geno Petriashvili in the freestyle final and reigning Olympic champion Taha Akgül, Steveson won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

What Are The Gabe Stevenson Sexual Misconduct Allegations?

The history of alleged sexual assault by Gable Steveson has come to light again. Wrestling fans jumped on when the “CringeWrestlingTakes” Twitter account uploaded a screenshot of a fan criticizing AEW for employing accused abusers along with a statement on Steveson’s history.

In 2019, Steveson and Dylan Martinez, a member of his wrestling team at the University of Minnesota, were charged with raping a woman.

Steveson was not charged because Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman deemed the available evidence insufficient to proceed with the prosecution.

After being detained in connection with the incident, Steveson & Martinez were both put on the team’s suspension list. They returned to the group right after following the dismissal of the accusations.

The initial post made mention of AEW’s readiness to work with sexual predators, Impact’s decision to release Scarlett Bordeaux in order to ostensibly avoid a lawsuit, and Shingo Takagi, the current NJPW champion, being an advocate for sexual assault. The retweet pushed Gable Steveson’s name back into the spotlight of the conversation. He presently has a NIL contract with WWE.

Explore The Updates On The Case And Victim Identified

The case has resurfaced again after a Twitter account shed some light on the situation recently. A Twitter account with the handle @Cringewrestlingtakes posted a series of facts about the whole situation.

However, the victim of the case has remained anonymous and the identity of the victim has not been revealed to the public yet. The case was also dismissed as there was not enough evidence and the case of alcohol was involved.

So Gable was not held accountable for all the accusations he faced and he was able to walk a free man.
