How Did Wednesday Discovered Secret Society, Nightshades?
Wednesday Addams unveiled truths about the secret society, The Nightshades. Nightshades are the protectors of outcasts.
In the first episode, Wednesday plans on escaping Nevermore Academy with the help of Tyler. But when she touches Rowan, her Psychic vision shows him in danger.
Addams follows Rowan to save him but ends up being attacked by Rowan, the first uncovered member of Nightshades. Hyde monster protects her from him.
Wednesday gets a torn piece of paper from Rowan of a sketch resembling her; she cancels her plans to run away from Nevermore. Addams gets into the mission to unfold the dark secrets of Nevermore Academy.
Marylin Thornhill identifies the icon as the sign of Nightshades that no longer existed. While searching in Xavier and Rowan’s room, Wednesday finds a strange mask.
During the Poe Cup celebration, Wednesday noticed the Nightshades symbol engraved in a statue depicting Edgar Allan Poe holding a book which is the same as the symbol she saw on the torn paper shown by Rowan.
She solved the riddle in the book and understood that she needed to snap twice, which led her to the secret library. There is finds her parent’s picture hanging on the wall.
This snap has a direct reference to The Addams Family. It was an iconic theme of the Addams family.
At the same time, a hooded person covered her head with a black cloth like a thing. As Wednesday quickly discovers, the Nightshades are simply a group of students that organize parties and entertaining activities, which disappoints the girl who had anticipated meeting some genuinely terrible folks.
It turns out Bianca (Joy Sunday) is the leader of the Nightshades.
Wednesday Rejects To Be The Member Of Secret Society Nightshades
When Wednesday gets caught sneaking into the Nightshade’s secret library, Xavier (Percy Hynes White) takes his voice to offer her membership.
Bianca describes Nightshades as the Nevermore’s lead social club, while Addams satires if they even get to sleep.
Bianca says no to it after getting bitten in her own water game Poe Cup. Wednesday even prefers Bianca with her mask on.
She unties herself, throws the rope, and walks with pride, saying immatures like them give kidnapping a bad name.
The Nightshades Were Disbanded Due To Wednesday’s Father Gomez
Three decades earlier, in a nightmare, Gomez Addams got jailed for accusations that never happened. Gomez being an outcast and Nightshades member, became the reason to disband the society.
Despite all these, Principal Weems allowed some students to continue the legacy of Nightshades but within certain conditions. One of the conditions was to work secretly.
Nightshades Went On From Being Against Of Wednesday To Help Her Chain Tyler
The Nightshades members did not seem to be coordinating with Addams except Xavier. Bianca went on from questioning what to do with her for breaking into the secret library to helping her at the end.
However, Wednesday’s motive is to save the Nevermore, and the outcasts from the monster in the woods called Hyde matches with Nightshades.
Bianca, an outcast, has the supernatural power to sing a siren song while talking and hypnotize people. Despite being rival, Barclay helps Wednesday to captivate Tyler.
All the nightshades members help her chain Tyler in the chair. When Wednesday asks him to confront being Hyde, he denies resulting in Addams taking painful steps.
After helping her captivate Tyler, they leave one by one as they do not support violence.
