Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Vietnamese Visa.
- Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
- Correctly filled visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.

- An invitation letter from the inviting company in Vietnam should be provided. The letter should introduce the applicant and state the duration and purpose of the applicant’s trip.
- A letter from your employer in Egypt is required. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and must state the duration and purpose of the applicant’s business leave.
- The letter should state who will be financially responsible for the applicant in the country.
- You are required to be in possession of the International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever.
- A receipt that shows that visa application fee has been paid is required.
