Born February 12, 1986, in Orange County, California, United States, Curry attended Sonora High School in La Habra, California, where she graduated in 2004.
Following her degree in theater from California State University, Fullerton, Curry worked with The Second City and Phantom Projects theatre groups prior to landing her first television work in the American teen noir mystery drama series Veronica Mars in 2005.
She portrayed the titular character in the PlayStation 3 tech demo Kara (2012) and reprised the role in the video game Detroit: Become Human (2018).
In 2023, she joined the cast of the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys as the superhero Firecracker.
Curry married actor English actor Sam Underwood in 2016 but the pair divorced in 2023.
