Vai S. Sikahema (born August 29, 1962) is a Tongan former American football player who now works as a television news reporter in the United States. He was the first Tongan to ever play in the National Football League (NFL), where he was a running back and kickoff returner for eight seasons from 1986 to 1993. He was the first Tongan to ever play in the NFL. During his collegiate football career with the Brigham Young University Cougars, he was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals (now the Arizona Cardinals) in the tenth round of the 1986 National Football League Draft. During his NFL career, he also played for the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles before retiring after the 1993 season. In the years following his retirement, he has worked as Sports Director for WCAU, an NBC owned-and-operated station in Philadelphia, where he has worked as a reporter since 1994. Sikahema is the elder cousin of fellow Tongan NFL player Deuce Lutui, who is also a cousin of Sikahema.
