The enigmatic and cheeky persona of Celebrity Juice star Keith Lemon, portrayed by comedian Leigh Francis, has left fans pondering the reason behind his consistent bandaged right wrist. With a reputation for risqué humor, the character has kept followers guessing about the purpose of the bandage, sparking curiosity and intrigue.
Over the years, fans have taken to social media to share their theories and affectionately referred to the specific bandage type as the “Keith Lemon bandage.” Twitter users have expressed their curiosity, with one person admitting, “Always wondered what Keith Lemon’s bandage was all about!”
However, after keeping the mystery alive for so long, Keith Lemon has finally revealed the truth behind the bandage. He shared, “Over the years, my bandage has become part of who I am, and I always carry a spare in my pocket.” Playfully, he added, “Girls are forever coming up and asking me how I’ve hurt myself.”
So, what lies beneath the iconic bandage? Keith’s most commonly told story is that it cleverly hides a rather unconventional and not-so-PG tattoo, which often matches his outfits. The tattoo, he claims, is a unique form of artistic expression. However, television producers did not quite share his enthusiasm for the unconventional ink, leading to the elaborate hoax.
In 2017, eagle-eyed viewers spotted Keith at the BAFTA’s without his signature bandage, sparking further curiosity. During an appearance on the Chris Moyles’ Radio X show, the truth behind the “unorthodox tattoo” revelation was unveiled. It was, in fact, all part of a massive joke orchestrated by the mischievous comedian.
Keith humorously clarified that there was nothing wrong with his hand whatsoever, but the bandage served as a form of artistic expression, similar to how Nelly would wear a plaster on his cheek. With a sly grin and a penchant for pranks, Keith Lemon has once again proven himself as the master of playful deception, delighting fans with his witty charm and leaving us all eagerly awaiting his next comedic surprise.
