Since her early school days, Tuppence used to take part in school plays, most notably in Guys and Dolls on a lead role. After attending Bristol Grammar School, she went to Stagecoach, a performing arts school in Portishead. At the Arts Educational School in Chiswick, London, Middleton studied acting and earned an honours degree in acting.
Her first major role was in the horror/comedy Tormented in 2009 as head girl Justine Fielding. Fielding dates one of the most popular boys in school but later on finds that he and his friends were responsible for a classmate’s death.
