Trevor Bauer: Know About San Diego Woman Who Accused Him Of Sexual Assault
Trevor Bauer of the Los Angeles Dodgers filed a federal lawsuit against the woman who accused him of sexual assault on Monday, less than three months after prosecutors chose not to press criminal charges against him.
According to the victim, Bauer allegedly battered and sexually abused a San Diego woman he met on social internet last year.
She later requested an authority restraining order against him, but it was denied. In February, prosecutors in Los Angeles concluded that there wasn’t enough evidence to establish the woman’s claims beyond a reasonable doubt.
Bauer filed a lawsuit against the woman and one of her attorneys, Niranjan Fred Thiagarajah. People who claim to have been sexual assault victims are rarely identified by the Associated Press.
Trevor Bauer Career
Trevor Bauer’s stock rose among MLB scouts after following his success during the year 2011 NCAA season, while Cole was projected to go number one overall in the year 2011 MLB Draft.
As expected, the Pittsburgh Pirates selected Cole first overall, while the Arizona Diamondbacks selected Bauer two spots later. This was the very first time in the history of MLB that two college teammates were selected first and third overall ranking in the same draft since 1978.
On July 25, he signed with the team and was assigned to the California League’s Class A-Advanced Visalia Rawhide tournament.
Before being upgraded to the Double-A Mobile BayBears in August, Trevor made only 3 appearances with Visalia, pitching 14 innings and allowing 3 runs.
