interior description

In addition to a triple volume lounge in the heart of the floor plan of this amazing piece of architecture, water surrounds it like a tiny island on land, an art gallery adjacent to the dining room, a gym, a spa treatment room, a jacuzzi and fountains.

The living room is equipped with a sound surround system and the floors are paved with granite and bamboo.

The house has two kitchens (the large one for staff cooking at main events and the other for the lady of the house to prepare her own family menu). There’s also a library that slides away to reveal the den and a dining area.

The floors of both kitchens are covered in opaque granite countertops, coordinated with glass and stainless steel fixtures including cappucino makers, microwaves, refrigerator and oven (built into the cabinets).

Part of the designs that form the entrance, the home features a pool and waterfall feature with a huge mahogany revolving door adding opulence to the impressive facade. with an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi.

The modern manor house has six en-suite bedrooms, plaster ceilings and intricate moldings to let your imagination run wild.

The mansion also has large balconies, two staff quarters and a three car garage. To increase security, full anti-bandit windows are installed on the lower floor, while the pool acts as a mote, eliminating the need for burglar bars.

Also the huge detached guest wing comes with its own private entrance, kitchen and bathroom. For example, the barbecue area will accommodate 200 to 250 guests and offer them a meeting point alongside a unique environment for a comfortable life.

Access to the upper floors is via the granite and mahogany staircase between the living and dining room. Beyond the lounge, a study and study offer comfortable massage chairs, a fireplace and a TV overlooking the pool and natural vegetation.

For privacy, the study/prayer room is on the third floor, which has a balcony overlooking the lush Kitusuru suburbs.

The Magnolia Hills Estate

The journey of the 40 homes built in MagnoliaHills Estate began way back in 2005 when developer Mehraz Ehsani bought 24 acres of land worth Sh2.3m in Kitusuru, near the International School of Kenya, and developed this architectural genius . Built as an American suburb, most of the houses sold out in the conception phase when they existed only as scraps on a computer.

While in 1995, when it was prospectively shown to customers, a unit cost around Sh25million, but now the price is so high that Mr Ehsain says it’s more sentimental than monetary – particularly for House 12.

House 12 is clearly the largest house in the community occupying a 1 acre landscaped garden – further enhancing the privacy of the house occupants from the prying eyes of neighbors.

According to the architect, who is of Iranian descent, Mr Ehsani has previously studied the relationship between architecture and engineering at the University of California and the University of Nairobi for 12 years. “Magnolia Hills designs take into account the positive weather in Kenya, the beautiful greenery, the intensity of our rainfall and the sunny days. That’s why we tend to use large amounts of glass to let special light into the buildings. “

He also said that the best building materials for the interior were sourced from China, precisely from the company that makes interiors for Mercedes.
