Born in Athens, Greece, Tommy Lee has enjoyed a successful music career, giving him a net worth of $70 million. He is popularly known as a founding member and drummer for his band, Motley Crue. The band did not gain its reputation until three years later when it released the album, Shout to the Devil.
Together with his band, Motley Crue, Lee has released 20 albums including compilations, studio and live, with six of them going platinum. He separated himself from the group in the late 1990s and enjoyed a successful career with his new rap-metal band entitled Methods of Mayhem. Lee is also recognized for his multiple love affairs with a variety of Hollywood celebrities and ongoing legal battles. Before moving to the United States, Lee’s mother, Vassiliki, was a Greek beauty having won the Miss Greece Contest of 1957, while his father, David Oliver Bass, was a US Army serviceman who was provisionally based in Europe. Lee’s sister, Athena Lee, is also a drummer, who previously played with the band KrunK, though her wealth does not compare to that of her brother.
