Who is Tiffany Rivers?
Tiffany Goodwin was born in Alaska, USA, on 18 November 1982 – her zodiac sign is Scorpio and she holds American nationality. She is a housewife and a philanthropist, but probably best known best for being the wife of Philip Rivers, an American Football quarterback.
Childhood and education
Tiffany’s family moved to Alabama, where she was raised alongside her siblings by her father who was a lawyer, and her mother who was a housewife – the family was very religious, and Tiffany went to church at least once a week with her parents.
She attended a local high school where Tiffany was interested in chemistry, and acting with the school’s drama club, but was encouraged by her parents to focus on her education as to eventually obtain her college degree. She also had an opportunity to meet Philip. Upon matriculating in 2000, Tiffany enrolled at North Carolina State University, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2004.
Tiffany’s career
Now being a mother of nine, Tiffany spends most of her time at home taking care of her children and the household.
Being a philanthropist, she and her husband created the foundation Rivers of Hope, which helps orphans not older than 12 find families – Tiffany and Philip also organize a yearly fun run to gather money for the foundation, and attract more attention to it.
She is also somewhat of a designer, and has her own swimwear line called Hermoza.
Love life and marriage with Philip
Philip met Tiffany while he was playing high school football, as he saw her sitting in the crowd, and then told his mother that she was a ‘good girl’.
They began dating, but as Tiffany is very religious, she chose not to sleep with Philip until they were married – the two exchanged vows in 2001, and their first daughter they named Halle was born in 2002. Since then, Tiffany has given birth to eight more children.
It appears that Philip and Tiffany are each other’s first love and haven’t been with anyone else. As of November 2020, Tiffany is married to Philip and they have nine children together.
Hobbies and other interests
Tiffany doesn’t have much time for herself, having to take care of her large family, however, she enjoys reading books in her spare time, and learning about the news from the fashion industry – while she’s not a shopaholic, she still enjoys going shopping for clothes from time to time.
Tiffany likes to travel, and visited several US states with her husband during the first several years of their marriage, but they rarely travel together nowadays.
She occasionally watches movies with her children or alone at night – a couple of her favorite actresses are Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Scarlett Johansson, while a few of her favorite movies are “Kramer vs. Kramer”, “Blue Jasmine”, and the trilogy “The Lord of the Rings”.
Age, height and net worth
Tiffany’s age is 38. She has long brown hair and brown eyes, her height is 5ft 8ins (1.73m) and she weighs around 135lbs (62kgs). As of November 2020, her and Philip’s net worth has been estimated at over $80 million.
Who is Philip Rivers?
Philip Michael Rivers was born in Decatur, Alabama USA, on 8 December 1981 – his zodiac sign is Sagittarius and he holds American nationality. He is known best for the 16 seasons he spent playing American Football for the San Diego Chargers, before signing a contract with the Indianapolis Colts in 2020.
Philip was raised an only child in Athens, Alabama, by his father Steve who was a football coach, and his mother Joan who was teaching at a local high school. He started playing football in 1994 wearing number 17, and after his father became the head coach at Athens High School, Philip enrolled at that school, and started playing for its football team. He eventually became the best prep passer in Alabama, and upon matriculation in 1999 enrolled at North Carolina State University, where he was coached by Chuck Amato.
After graduation in 2003, Philip was selected by the New York Giants in the NFL Draft, but was soon traded to the San Diego Chargers, signing a six-year contract worth $40.5 million. He went on to play with them until 10 February 2020, when both he and the Chargers decided that it would be best if he stopped playing for them. On 21 March 2020, Philip signed a one-year contract worth $25 million with the Indianapolis Colts.
Although a very rich man, Philip enjoys the simple things in life, however, he still paid $200,000 for a large SUV which was converted into a rolling film room, because he and his wife decided not to move after the Chargers relocated to Los Angeles, forcing Philip to travel by the car six to seven hours every day.
Because of the success of his and his wife’s foundation, in 2011 Philip was named amongst the three finalists for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, but didn’t win it in the end.
