Michael Nesmith Cause Of Death
Michael Nesmith, a renowned singer & guitarist of the American rock and pop band Monkees, died on 10 December 2021 of natural causes.
His and the group’s manager Michael Nesmith confirmed the news. He wrote that the 78-year-old artist passed away this morning in his home.
Michael was born in Huston, Texas, to Warren and Bette Nesmith on 30 December 1942. Although a student at the Thomas Jefferson High School, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1960 without graduating.
After completing his basic training, he studied as an aircraft mechanic and got stationed at the Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base. Then, he received a GED certificate, and the Air Force honorably discharged him in 1962. He studied at San Antonio College following his U.S. Armed Forces venture.

Michael’s musical career began shortly after his Air Force venture. He was a member of the Monkees from 1965 to early 1970. He had a great time with the band created for the TV series with the same name. Their two LPs became the consecutive no.1s, charting for 31 weeks in 1966/67.
However, his run with the group ended, and he began his solo venture. He won his first Grammy Award for Video of the Year in 1981. He founded the Countryside Records label in 1973 with Jac Holzman. And in 1974, he started Pacific Arts Records.
Hopefully, Nesmith finds peace, and his family gets enough strength to face this tragedy. At present, information on his funeral remains unknown.
