Tchidi Chikere is a multiple award winning Nollywood director, producer, actor, script writer, musician and a television personality. He was born on 10th October 1975 in Mbaise, Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria. He is currently 44 years old.Tchidi Chikere completed both her primary and secondary school education in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria and obtained both his First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate.After completing his secondary education, Tchidi Chikere proceeded to University of Calabar, Cross River in the south southern part of Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts.Tchidi Chikere is currently married with lovely kids. He was formerly married to Sophia Chikere who is also a Nollywood actress. The couples were blessed with three children. Unfortunately, Tchidi Chikere and his Wife Sophia Chikere got divorced in 2012 due to misunderstanding which could not be resolved. Tchidi Chikere is currently married to Nollywood actress Nuella Njubigbo and the couple are blessed with lovely kids.

After graduating from University of Calabar, Tchidi Chikere joined the Nigerian movie industry popularly known as Nollywood in 1995 as a script writer.Tchidi Chikere is a creative filmmaker and one of the leading movie directors and producers in Nigeria with over 160 movies to his credit. One of the greatest movies Tchidi Chikere wrote and directed in Nollywood is “Stronger Than Pain” an emotional tragic movie which featured Nollywood celebrities like Kate Henshaw and Emeka Ike.
