Tara Lipinski Family Life
Tara Lipinksi was born on June 10, 1982 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is the only child of Jack and Pat Lipinski.
She started roller skating at the age of three while growing up in Sewell, New Jersey. It was around 1988 when Jack and Pat took her to the ice rink for the first time.
She initially missed roller skating, but it didn’t take her long to transfer her learning and craft onto the ice. Tara later switched to figure skating and honed her skills at the University of Delaware.
Tara has exclusively written about the love and support she got from her old folks in her autobiography Triumph On Ice.

Tara had to move alongside her father to Sugar Land, Texas, in 1991 after Jack was promoted to vice president of refining. However, the figure skater returned to Delaware with her mom a couple of years later for further training.
Jack stayed alone in Houston for work and financially supported the family. He used to call back home twice daily and send the checks on time.
After working for over eleven years at The Coastal Corp, he joined the petroleum refining company CVR Energy Inc. Jack served as the company’s President and CEO for more than 12 years, eventually retiring in 2018.
He looked after everything and fulfilled his responsibilities as head of the family. As much as he is proud of his daughter’s achievements, Tara is equally thankful for Jack’s sacrifices.

Patricia was always there for her little daughter, from traveling for her training at the Delaware University in Newark to the Detroit Skating Club in Michigan to further cheering for her during the tournaments.
Before her wedding ceremony, Tara received the most beautiful gift anyone could ever wish for straight out of a fairytale story from her mother, Patricia.
The 1997 US national champion shared it with the caption, “From the day I was born until the day I got married, she wrote in a book about our journey together as mother and daughter. Holy tears!”

Liv is 1 today! It’s a good Sunday when you get to see both your godchildren. I love watching these two grow up…just little versions of their mamas. I wouldn’t be who I am today without those two mamas in my life. @jillmordy @kellihurley5 #friendship #kids #growingup pic.twitter.com/9QxxGXL2Zm
