Tamsin Egerton is an English actress and model known for her roles in the 2007 film St Trinian’s, in the 2005 film Keeping Mum, and in the 2011 television series Camelot.
Egerton started her acting career at the age of six. A year later she appeared in The Secret Garden’s Royal Shakespeare Company, playing Mary. Alongside Rupert Grint and Flora in Knife Edge in 2008, Egerton’s other film credits include Sarah in Driving Lessons in 2006. She was to appear in Eragon as Katrina but the scenes she featured in were removed from the final cut. Egerton starred as Princess Elenora in the children’s television series Sir Gadabout: The Worst Knight in the Land. In 2001 she starred in the television miniseries The Mists of Avalon as the “young” Morgaine.
She has also appeared on stage, in The Hidden Garden’s musical version of the RSC. In 2009 she appeared in St Trinian ‘s sequel, St Trinian’s II: The Gold Legend of Fritton. She appeared alongside Felicity Jones, Ed Westwick, and Bill Nighy in Chalet Girl in 2011, playing “Georgie.”Egerton played Guinevere in her second Arthurian appearance in US Starz ‘s 2011 adaptation of the Arthurian myth, Camelot.
