They paid $20.8 million for the glass-and-concrete house perched on a cliff in La Jolla, California.

Reports claim that the Razor House so named because of its location at Razor Point inspired the Stark Mansion, the fictional house featured “Iron Man 3.”

Swizz Beatz Tattoos

Beatz stopped by Sotheby’s new Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition earlier this week and showed just how much he admires the late Brooklyn artist. While giving an introductory speech, Beatz revealed that he has two arm tattoos in tribute to the Basquiat, who died of a drug overdose in 1988 at the age of 27.

After probing from the crowd, Beatz rolled up the sleeve of his white blazer and unveiled a black ink tattoo of Basquiat’s face, reports say. Basquiat is best known for his exploration of cultural identity, justice and equality and his ability to turn almost any medium into thought-provoking works of art. For example, in one graffiti-style piece, Basquiat painted “Jimmy best on his back to the sucker-punch of his childhood files” onto a metal panel.

Given the fact that most people have an emotional connection to their tattoos, one has to assume that music producer Swizz Beatz’s decision to have Keith Haring’s “Flying Man” embellished on his left AND right front shoulders indicates a genuine passion for art.

The collection maintains the fusion element that is intrinsic to the brand with collaborative designs by NTMB (Never Too Much Basic), Schott, The Rockins and KAIMIN.

Swizz Beatz Bacardi

Bacardi Limited named Beatz as its “global chief creative for culture.” But the celebrity music producer won’t be appearing in ads for the liquor marketer anytime soon. The multi-year agreement covers Bacardi’s entire brand portfolio, which includes its namesake rum, along with Grey Goose, Martini, Bombay Sapphire, and Dewars.

“The goal is to develop partnerships, activations, and ideas that further incorporate the Bacardi brands into the worlds of music, art, and film,” Bacardi said in a statement. Swizz will also represent Bacardi brands at cultural events in the U.S. and in emerging markets, although details have not yet been released.

There are no immediate plans to put him in ads, according to a Bacardi spokeswoman. But the music maven could hold influence over Bacardi’s marketing. “As the Bacardi global chief creative for culture, I will be involved in all aspects of the product—from brand marketing and advertising to innovation and selling platforms—areas to which I will bring a new, fresh perspective,” he said in a statement.

Bacardi will work with him to “forge deals with the most creative icons in sports, fashion, technology, art, and film around the world in the coming months,” according to the statement. Bacardi Limited CEO Mike Dolan stated that “consumers are identifying with brands that fit their lifestyle in culturally relevant ways and Swizz is the perfect partner to identify and forge these new consumer connections.” Bacardi did not release dollar terms of the deal.

Swizz Beatz The Grammys 2019

The 2019 Grammy Awards were hosted by Alicia Keys which meant there were plenty of loved up moments between her and her hubby. To start, the A-list couple walked the red carpet together, where Alicia wore a sizzling red dress with her hair pulled back. Swizz, meanwhile, wore a matching black and red suit that perfectly matched his leading lady’s ensemble.

Once they got inside the auditorium, Alicia dashed backstage to perform her hosting duties, while Swizz changed into a white tuxedo with a black tie and hung out with their friends in their front row seats. Throughout the show, Swizz clapped and cheered for the “If I Ain’t Got You” singer, which earned him Twitter’s title of “Most Supportive Husband” of the year.

But it wasn’t just Swizz who was bursting with pride over their spouse. When Swizz took the stage with Eve to present an award, Alicia gave a little shout-out to her “hubby.”

Swizz Beatz The ‘Godfather Of Harlem’ Soundtrack

East and Ferg’s tune are just one of 19 original compositions created specifically for Godfather, curated by executive producer Swizz Beatz as part of a rare undertaking in television: composing modern tunes for a series that takes place entirely in the past, a soundtrack designed to both draw in younger viewers and provide perspective on how the issues of yesterday remain the issues of today.

Swizz Beatz Dmx

At the beginning of this year, DMX left a West Virginia prison after approximately a year behind bars. From there, the onetime superstar continued his campaign tour to celebrate 20 years of debut LP, It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot. He rocked the Twin Cities’ Soundset Festival and is slated to join the upcoming Three 6 Mafia reunion show.

While Swizz is still sitting on the X collaboration with JAY-Z, Nas, and Jadakiss, a fresh and high-profile collaboration surfaces. Swizzy produced “Just In Case,” a song about staying prepared for street treachery. Ross, who’s survived a few incidents since becoming a Rap star, begins the collaborator. He says he’s at eight figures and on his way to 10. As well as, Swizz tackles the melodic chorus with a choir behind him.

X reminds Heads that he’s underground and battle-tested. “How many times you been behind the wall? None / You either snitchin’ or lyin’ about the sh*t you done / You ain’t never moved a brick unless you building a house,” he spits. The energy level is high as it marks DMX’s next step in a climb hopefully back to the top of the game. This song appears on The Godfather Of Harlem soundtrack, which is curated by Swizz.

Swizz Beatz and Jay Z

Beatz released his POISON album. For the Bronx, New York representative, it is his third retail release over the last 16 years. Rather than bring attention to his catalog, the Grammy Award-winning producer, rapper, DJ, and musician have spotlit so many moments for his peers in Rap, R&B, and Pop.

In early 2017, Beatz challenged Just Blaze to a battle in his studio. As Swizz tells Drink Champs in his second full-length interview with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, there was the real competition at play. Just Blaze had admitted to Swizz that he had felt a competitive urge since 1998’s “Money Cash H*es” by JAY-Z. There had been tweets, some verbal sparring, and more leading up to last year’s battle. While Swizz admits that the rivalry is decorated with respect, there was a score to settle, and the Ruff Ryders’ hit-maker was up for the challenge.

Just Blaze & Swizz Have A Beat Battle For The Ages. Watch The Masters Work (Video) The event was filmed. After nearly two-and-a-half hours of music, Swizz Beatz played an unreleased record by JAY-Z, Nas, DMX, and Jadakiss. The small in-studio crowd went crazy. Just, who frequently plays unreleased recordings from his days with Roc-A-Fella Records and others, took audit.

Swizz Beatz Tour

Beatz always seems to find the most unique stages to perform on and at this particular venue, he stood on top of a stage that was shaped and designed like a boombox. Not only that, but the boombox was about fifteen feet in the air yet it felt as though I was really close to him throughout the whole performance.

The stage itself looked fantastic and there wasn’t a part of it that didn’t look like a stereo system, and better yet it made it feel as if I was in a different reality in which ordinary objects were big due to being shrunk. This in itself provided a very unique experience because it allowed for the crowd to be more imaginative and into the performance than they otherwise might have been.

Hip-hop performances always seem so much larger and more extravagant than life. The stage itself was placed on top of a pier and a volleyball was tossed down to the crowd during the performance that they were encouraged to hit and move down through the crowd. The crowd happily hit the volleyball as they danced with one another and chanted the lines that the artist purposely didn’t sing.

At points like this, not only was it easy to hear the crowd, but the music stopped just long enough for the audience to take part in the performance. Throughout the entire performance, Swizz Beatz moved around the stage and danced while encouraging the crowd to do the same. For more information on his tours please click here.
