Sweden visa requirements for Malagasys

The Swedish tourist visa is issued to foreigners travelling to Sweden for vacation or leisure purposes.

The Sweden tourist visa also serves as a visitor’s visa; it permits the holder to visit friends and relatives residing in Sweden.

Applicants visiting friends and relatives are to submit a letter of invitation which clearly shows the host’s address and valid means of identification.

The Swedish tourist visa has a validity of 90 days.

The Swedish visa can be issued as a single or multiple entry visa.

Applicant should submit a cover letter that clearly states the details of the applicant’s planned journey and duration of the visit.

Applicants should show an incentive that proves their willingness to return to Madagascar at the expiration of their visa.

Proof of paid visa application fee should be submitted.

Proof of medical fitness and yellow fever vaccination should be submitted.

Applicants are advised to exit the country before the expiration of their visa.

The Swedish business visa is issued to Malagasy visiting Sweden for business purposes.

Bearers of this visa can attend business meetings, trade fairs and take part in conferences in Sweden.

Applicants visa application that has been completed should be submitted.

Applicants passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel.

A letter from the company the applicant will be representing should be submitted. 

The letter should clearly state the purpose and duration of the applicants visit.

A letter from the partner company in Sweden stating their awareness of the applicants visit and the nature of business to be carried out.

If the financial burden of the applicants visit  will be bared by the host company it should be clearly stated.

proof that the partner company is licensed to operate in Sweden, you are required to present a copy of the company’s certificate of registration.

Proof of previous business dealings between both companies should be submitted.

Applicants are to appear in person for their interview at the embassy.

Applicants should submit a proof of incentive of returning to Madagascar at the expiration of their visa.
