Susannah Constantine’s husband is Sten Bertelsen. He is a Danish entrepreneur and businessman. They were married in 1995 and have three children together: Joe, Esme, and Cece.
Bertelsen is the founder of Death Cigarettes, a Danish tobacco company. He is also the chairman of the Danish Fashion Institute. Constantine and Bertelsen met in 1992 and started dating shortly after. They married in 1995 in a small ceremony in Bottesford, Lincolnshire.
The couple have three children together: Joe (born 1997), Esme (born 2000), and Cece (born 2002). They live in a 120-acre estate in Sussex. Bertelsen is a private person and does not often appear in the public eye. However, he has been supportive of his wife’s career and has appeared on her television shows on occasion.
In 2018, Constantine revealed that she and Bertelsen had been through a difficult period in their marriage. However, they have since worked through their problems and are now happily married.

Constantine was born in Hammersmith, London, England, on June 3, 1962. She was educated at the independent school Francis Holland School and then went on to study English at the University of Bristol
After graduating from university, Constantine worked as a fashion journalist for a number of magazines, including The Sunday Times Style, Harpers & Queen, and Vogue. She also worked as a PR consultant for a number of fashion brands.
In 2001, Constantine and Woodall launched the television series What Not to Wear. The show was a huge success and ran for five series on the BBC. Constantine and Woodall became household names, and their style advice was sought after by women all over the world.
