Super Mario Bros is a movie based on Mario games and the voicing cast are Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, and more.
The film is the third adaptation of Nintendo’s Super Mario into a motion picture. The third film Super Mario Bros is a computer-animated movie based on the storyline of the videogame. The movie follows basically the same storyline as the Nintendo video game. The main protagonist Mario is joined by his brother Luigi to rescue the kidnapped Princess Peach. The storyline is based on a fictional Mushroom Kingdom of Mario World.
However, making the movie Super Mario Bros was difficult. Nintendo suffered a great critical and commercial loss with its 1993 film of the same name which made the Japanese video game development company reluctant on handing out film adaptation licensing for the videogame. However, after meeting Illumination founder Chris Meledandri, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto was discussing a new film in the series in 2016 and the film was officially announced in 2018.
While the film is made up of animated characters, the voicing cast provides life to them. Meet the voice cast members of Super Mario Bros.
