Brief biography
Steven Suptic was born on February 6, 1993 as the only child of his parents. Last year, while expressing his admiration for his friend Benji Blakeway, Suptic said he still thought about what it would be like to have a sibling. But of course, he would never know.

Suptic met and became friends with Clayton “Cib” James in 2012. He knew James DeAngelis and editor Autumn Farrell while working for SourceFed. Together they co-founded Sugar Pine 7. It was reported that in 2017, the YouTube channel gained over 1 million subscribers and over 60 million video views.
He started his Alternative Lifestyle YouTube series successor to SourceFed, which was canceled in early 2017. According to him, the show is a “narrated, hyper-surreal, improv-based comedy that uses the format vlog to promote a character-driven story”.
In September 2017, his film pseudo-documentary Life After SourceFed morphed into what is now Sugar Pine 7 – also part of the Rooster Teeth family. The series won the Streamy Award for Show of the Year and has more than 1.1 million subscribers to date.
Career start
In a close interview, Steven Suptic said while working at SourceFed and planning for the company to retire one day, he worked longer on his personal channel. At the time, he was making uninspired videos and reactions to make money and keep an audience. However, while his freeze-frame narrated content captured the interests of several fans who adored what he shared, Suptic took him to heart and became a career and a source of livelihood.
On the concept that makes up SP7, Suptic said they usually move around Los Angeles, filming various events. Then the pieces are put together to form a complete story for their channel.
Besides running the business, Suptic reveals that he’s working on an actual novel, not like YouTube. According to him, “I don’t know if it will be good yet, but I’m proud of what I wrote. I love Riverdale so my opinion on the writing might not be helpful. »
Suptic talks about the following for the channel. said they have a two-year plan and are hoping to fund an episodic “off-YouTube” project. But, convinced that, when talking about their big plans, they’ll be less likely to commit to them, he didn’t want to elaborate. According to him, “if I say more, I feel like I’ve already finished it.
