Steven N’Zonzi is a French defensive midfielder who plays in Spain for Sevilla. Steven N’Kemboanza Mike N’zonzi was born on December 15, 1988 in La Garenne-Colombes, France. N’zonzi is of Congolese origin and her mother is French.
Like many other kids who would grow up to be great footballers, Steven has always played football since he was a child. This led him to start his career at the age of 10 with Racing Paris.
A year later he moved to Paris Saint-Germain where he remained until 2002 when he left as a junior footballer with CA Lisieux. He spent the following year in Caen then the following year in Beauvais, then moved to Amiens in 2005.
Professional career
N’zonzi was promoted to the 2009 Amiensen senior team, he played 37 games for the team and scored one goal before leaving to play in England for Blackburn Rovers. 86 games and 5 goals later, he moved to Stoke City in 2012, where he would stay until 2015.
Having had a very successful career with StockCity, Steven moved to Sevilla and it was with the team that he remained until the end of the 2017/2018 season. Following the opening of the transfer market for the 2018/2019 season, many teams such as Arsenal sought to secure his signature.
In his national colors, the Blues defensive midfielder received his first invitation at Under-21 level in 2009. After his excellent footballing skills, his home country DR Congo, England and French opened their doors to him to play for them at national level.

In his defence, the footballer said he only quivered his wife to calm her down when she called him a useless dad. Furthermore, he claimed that she called his mother and told her that her son did not have a dad, as N’zonzi was useless. He revealed that all of this was said by his wife in court so it could hurt her.
By December 2015, Steven N’Zonzi had been released on all domestic abuse charges, but that would soon be followed by a divorce lawsuit from Lynda N’Zonzi, claiming the marriage was already past all reparations. The court was quick to dissolve the marriage in January 2016.
Since the end of his marriage to Lynda, we no longer talk about his relationship. Therefore, it is unknown if he has dated anyone since his union with his ex-wife ended.
