St.Anthony’s Boys’ High School, Kitale Description
St.Anthony’s Boys’ High School – Kitale is a Boys Boarding school, located in Trans Nzoia County.
The school was established in 1969 as a day school and was by then known as Kitale Day Secondary school. Later when the school was burnt down form 3 and 4 students moved to St.Joseph Teachers Training College resulting in the birth of the current St. Joseph High School-Kitale and transfer of the college to Mosoriot.
Later it was rebuilt after burning down and later grew to a high school in the old system of education with the introduction of A-Level art classes in 1987. Partial boarding was also introduced during the same year.
The school grew to become a three-stream school under the Catholic Diocese of Kitale in 2000 and changed its name to St.Anthony’s High School-Kitale. The school expanded to a four-stream school with a teaching staff of 60 and student population of 1170 currently.

Individual candidates can check their KCSE results by SMS or online using an SMS number or website link provided at the release of the exam. Candidates and parents should visit the school for their official results slip. Results for all candidates and the school national, county and local ranking can also be found from the schools’ office.
The ministry of education advises parents teachers and pupils to check the KCSE result slip for any anomaly such as incorrect candidate’s name, school name and code as well as wrong subject grade and report to KNEC within a month after the announcement.

Muyonga Wycliffe Maina class of 2008 says he is currently an Agronomist after graduating from Egerton University. He says St. Anthony Boys High School has nurtured him to be what he is today. Without hard work, there former teachers assistance and the high academic discipline standards, they would not be where they are now. He thanked the school principal and his staff members for the hard work they are doing. Samwel Ogaji class of 2008 says he wishes he could replay his time in the school cause it was a great place, a homeland for scholars and sportsmen. He managed to achieve both excellently to university as well as playing hockey to the highest level. He says he is proud and very willing to be associated with the school. The good work esteemed teachers led by the school principal and discipline and also God-fearing community made him reach where he always wanted to be.
