Siti rose to fame when she played the character Nora Elena alongside actor Aaron Aziz in the drama, Nora Elena Broadcast on TV3 which received a warm welcome reaching 1.3 million viewers on the site Tonton.com.

‘May Allah grant him Jannah’ – Siti Saleha on cancer-stricken teen fan

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Saleha posted a bittersweet picture on her Instagram account yesterday.
In it was the bubbly 28-year-old personality standing close to a smiling boy who was lying on a hospital bed.
She accompanied the picture with the caption: “Innalillah. I am blessed to have met this beautiful soul even for a short few minutes. May Allah grant him Jannah and the family the strength to bear the pain.
“You were so sweet Thaqif. Al-Fatihah.”
The actress and her fan club had recently organised a visit to the pediatric ward of the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre as part of a charity project.
In a news report, the actress said that the boy was a 16-year-old, who was suffering from bone cancer.
“I had initially thought of visiting the cancer patients as well but was not allowed to do so due to certain procedures.
“But when a nurse on duty at the time got wind that I was there, she told me that a cancer patient from the pediatric ward was a big fan of my drama series and would like to meet me.
“So I took the opportunity to see him as well,” she said.
Siti Saleha added that she was very touched that he was a fan and had wanted to see her in person.
“He immediately became very shy when he first saw me and couldn’t believe that I was there with him.
“I tried to hug him but he was too weak to even get up. I could only offer him some words of encouragement,” she said.
The Nora Elena and Langit Cinta actress added that she was satisfied to at least have been able to realise his wish.
