IX Shen, a Singaporean actor, has resided in Ukraine with his family for four months now. However, despite the worst situation, he does not intend to leave the country.
He told The Straits Times in a video interview that he heard a huge explosion while standing on his home’s balcony at 10 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb 23), which is 4 a.m. on Thursday, Singapore Time.
He said that he had a chance to just go to Hungary or Poland for a trip to get away with the situation. However, he wants to stay back and help rather than regretting that he could not do anything for the community.
