Selena Gomez is an American singer and actress born July 22, 1992 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Her father is Ricardo Gomez, a Mexican, while her mother, Amanda Cornett, is of Italian descent. Amanda is a former theater actress. Her parents named her after Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, a Grammy-winning American singer and fashion designer, dubbed the Queen of Tejano music.
Selena’s mother had her when she was 16, and when Selena was five, her parents separated, leaving her in her mother’s care. Amanda had to work three times to support her daughter. Selena also spent some of her early years with her grandparents, who raised her while her parents finished high school.

Selena has two sisters, Gracie Teefey, born from Amanda’s marriage to her second husband (pictured above) and Victoria Gomez, born to Ricardo and Sara his wife.

Selena was motivated to go into the entertainment industry after watching her mother rehearse for her theater productions. Her passion for entertainment grew thereafter and she started auditioning for different roles. During an audition, Selena met Demi Lovato. The duo was selected to appear in the children’s series Barney And Friends. They went on to become good friends and eventually Disney Stars. Selena’s break came when she was cast as Alex Russo in Disney’s Wizards Of Waverly Place.

Selena had a long, rather dramatic relationship with singer Justin Bieber. The duo finally broke up in 2014 but were spotted together on different occasions in 2015 and 2016, fueling rumors of a rekindled relationship, the duo initially denied there was anything between them , but it looks like they are about to reunite.
Following the rocky relationship, Selena told WMagazine, she was exhausted talking about Biebs, and although she still cares about his well-being and health, she is so relationship-wise, but Bieber didn’t have that kind of situation, even though Selena had her share of dating stars like Charlie Puth. Orlando Bloom and Samuel Krost, it only seemed to fuel Bieber’s determination to get her back and his efforts, according to reports, appeared to be paying off.
According to Hollywood Life, Justin invited Selena to his concert in Los Angeles It was held in March 2016 but it didn’t stop there. The two men were also seen alone on different occasions in a hotel. What else? On March 20, 2016, Bieber posted a throwback photo of him and Selena kissing while on one of their vacations and captioned it “it feels”, Selena posted a comment saying “Perfect”. So maybe Jelena could be back. The drama appears to be far from over.

Besides Bieber, Selena had relationships with actor Taylor Lautner and Disney star Nick Jonas before she started dating Bieber in 2010. Although it is unclear who Selena is currently with, from many fans are crossing their fingers it will be Bieber AGAIN and so on. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for this duo.
