Sean Lewis is an Emmy-award winning journalist and anchor of WGN-TV/Channel 9’s Saturday and Sunday morning news, with the expansion of weekend news in September 2016.

He went through two years each at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and UW-Milwaukee, interned in Minneapolis and Milwaukee and graduated in 1997 with a twofold major in communicate news-casting and political theory.

Speaking of his career, Lewis’ love for journalism began when he was at the age of 7 for he grew up watching Chicago news. Sean, filling reports for WGN News at Five and WGN News Nine during the week, he joined CLTV in March 2007 while in WGN-TV, he joined in June 2008.
The history and politics lover moved to Richmond, Va., where he spent more than two years as the weekend anchor for NBC affiliate WWBT-TV. In March 2007, he moved back to Kenosha, driving to Chicago and another situation as stay/journalist for Tribune Company’s CLTV – the main opening he had found. Sadly, his mom died just two months later.
